Happy Birthday Nim and Suki!!!

Our little guys have officially turned one! Andy and I decided based on their age when we got them that their birthday would be April 15th so this week we celebrated their birthdays by going to the dentist and getting milkshakes from Arby's :o)

I was looking through their pictures and it's crazy how much they've grown or at least started to look older. It's also crazy just how much we love these little guys. Makes it hard to imagine how much we would love our own children someday. So here you go. For Nim and Suki:

Azalea Festival

This weekend Andy and I headed to Wilmington to visit his family. The Azalea Festival was going on and he had promised me since before we were even engaged that it was something he wanted to take me to see. It was also the 40th Anniversary for his home church. Perfect timing! :o)

Our Puckett friends so kindly were able to watch Allie and the Kitties this weekend so we could go worry free. Unfortunatley the weekend was cut short and we headed back super early Sunday morning due to what I am thinking was food poisoning :o( I feel so bad I didn't even get a chance to say bye but Saturday was wonderful and it was great seeing everyone!

This bird was bold:

I love this one :o)

Family :o)

Some how Ryan escaped my camera. Next time maybe he won't be so lucky. We got to meet his girlfriend this weekend, too. She was really sweet.

The Henrietta III:
There were so many adorable dogs downtown, too!
And some famous people also made an appearance:
Andybody know the purple guys name?
Andy being the sweet guy he is got me a rose made out of, I think, sweet grass. A man was making and selling them on the riverfront. So precious!
All in all it was a great weekend. It was great seeing everyone and nice being able to just get away for a little while. Even if only for a day. Thanks mom and dad!

Easter Weekend

It was so nice to have Friday off yet the weekend seemed to still fly by. We did a lot of lounging, cleaning, and such. Friday we went to the Farmer's Market which was highly disappointing and Saturday Andy and I rented a row boat and hung out on Lake Wheeler for a little while trying to get rid of the bliding white skin we have aquired over the winter. Only to find out that my skin is having some kind of allergic reation to the sun. The same thing happened in Aruba when the swine flu was huge and scaring everybody. It was so bad I bought a long sleeve shirt to cover up when we were about to fly home because I was afraid they might not let me back in the country!

Yay! Our first Easter together :o) Andy's mom was super cute sending us all sorts of goodies in the mail. Thanks for everything! And my mom was nice enough to invite Andy and I back to the Boro area for a nice Easter dinner. We were super tricky though and left bright and early Sunday morning to make the 8:30 service at my church back home. It was fun to see how suprised everyone was and it was definitely worth going. I love Crosspointe but there is a part of me that is always going to love Clifton Road. There is no other church out there quite like it.

After the service Andy and I headed to Biscuitville. That used to be the routine when he would come and visit then headed to Bill and Robin's for the afternoon. It was a FULL house with what ended up being the 6 of us and their gazillion dogs. Okay, maybe there weren't a gazillion but still, there were a lot of dogs :o)

Of course their were pictures to be taken and I have a ton of cute ones of the dogs but I'll spare you from all 156 of them. I promise.

It was wonderful being able to spend Easter with my mom and friends. They are such a blessing as is my amazing husband.

Oh well, as usual, enjoy the rest of the pictures!
