This weekend was a BIG birthday...quarter of a century. Andy set the bar pretty high though, I don't know what I'm going to do to measure up when his comes along. I woke up to a nice hot cup of tea and headed down stairs to my very own Happy Birthday Banner and "monster" made of balloons only to find a nice pink snuggie underneath. Now, I'm sure the majority of people pick on this product but after using it, it really is quite convenient. It does however leave me wondering if the reason in which this gift was given was out of love or was his way of secretly making it even colder in our house...hmmm. I'll have to keep an eye on the thermostat I suppose. That night we took me to Raleighwood. It was such a neat place! It was a movie theatre/grill. We saw Love Happens which is an excellent movie but incredibly sad through most of it. But anyway, it was really fun and I highly recommend heading out there is you get the chance.
Sunday we got up and played some tennis before church and after church went to run errands only to get the BEST birthday present ever...our very first CHRISTMAS TREE (so maybe it wasn't REALLY a birthday present, but I'm looking at it that way :o) )! Yup! And it's up in our house right now...I know, but we were just too excited. Unfortunalty the ornaments did not come with hooks so we'll have to get on that later this week. Pictures to come for sure! Here are a few birthday pictures:
