Halloween

Living in Cary has been quiet, and for the most part we haven't suffered much of the "Cary" we all love to hate. We don't have a Home Owner's Association mandating what color our mailbox can be or what height range for our grass prevents a fine. There isn't much spice around here, but nobody bothers us - which is OK except for tonight. It's Halloween and Jennifer and I bought 52 and 48 ounces of candy which adds up to slightly over 6 pounds by my calculation and we haven't seen a single Trick-O-Treater.

We carved pumpkins out on the front porch hoping to find Snow Whites and Spidermans or even that pretty boy vampire kid (Jennifer says his name is Edward but that's no kind of Translyvanian name). No Lone Rangers or Princesses, no mummies or Cat-Womans, not even the lazy kid with street clothes and a Scream mask.
