Feed 10,000 and Maternity Shoot

Back in December our church hosted this really cool event called Feed 10,000. Over 200 people showed up to help pack meals for the children and their families in Chapel Hill that don't have meals to come home to. It was a lot of fun and it was so neat to see so many strangers come together to make a difference in the children's lives in the community. Each meal costs 1.00 and the food is actually pretty good! We packaged over 10,000 meals that day. We plan on doing it again I believe in the spring and we can't wait!

I do have to say those pictures are not my own. They are by this amazing photographer, Tracey, from our church. You can check out her work here: http://traceycarol.blogspot.com/

Speaking of Tracey, after I found out she was an awesome photographer and explored her sight I decided to ask her to do some maternity photos for us. So about 10 days before he was actually born we went to some gardens in Chapel Hill and got some photos done. She also was experimenting with newborn photography and did a newborn shoot for us at no charge! Those pictures are still in the works but I will post them when I get them for sure! But for now here are some maternity pics!
