This is the first of many posts to recap our recent trip to Shenandoah! If you know me you know I LOVE taking photos and there are just way to many to put into one post. Please excuse the jumbling of thoughts and times but at least it will all get in there somewhere :o)
We left last Wednesday and stayed until Sunday. The weather could have been a bit nicer, a little sunnier, but hey, a vacation is a vacation and it was wonderful to be away from home and be able to enjoy some quality time with my wonderful husband!
What was funnier was Andy trying to break into someone else's yurt...It was rainy, lack of moonlight I'm sure...
Back to the worrying of what this tent like yurt was going to be like on the inside. I must say we were pleasantly surprised! It was beautiful! It was nice and warm and very modern. It had a beautiful bathroom, a full kitchen and outdoor cooking area and it was so rustic yet still modern somehow.
There was also this really cool detailed fan. I recommend clicking the following 2 pictures so you can see it up close. This fan hung right below the skylight that was like a bubble at the most center and highest point of the yurt.
So, that's our yurt...now on for my FAVORITE part...the barn and the HORSES :o)
